Joys

The planets like people are happier in certain houses, these are called “the Joys”, but being in joy doesn’t necessarily make the planets beneficial for the native, this list is derived from a 4th century text of Firmicus Maternus and the Work of William Lilly. It simply refers that the planets can work their energies well!

Mercury – 1st House, Virgo [Mercury rejoices in the 1st because the tongue enjoys being in the head. Shows a love of talking]

Moon – 3rd House; Cancer [The moon enjoys the local travel and humdrum happenstance]

Venus – 5th House Libra [Venus enjoys the 5th of fun, enjoyment and sensuality and creativity]

Mars – 6th House Scorpio [Mars likes inflicting illness and suffering, in the drudgery of the 6th house]

Sun – 9th House leo [The sun trines the other fire Houses]

Jupiter – 11th House Sagittarius [the house of good luck, prosperity and expansion]

Saturn – 12th House., Aquarius [considered the undoing , the malefic likes suffering, sacrifice, misery, suicide and assassinations, enemies and hospitalization.]
