Equinoxes

The two equinoxes are when the length of day and night are equal. This happens when the Sun crosses the equator, during its path along the ecliptic, the equinoxes happen in spring and autumn.

Northern hemisphere; March 21st, Aries Spring Equinox September 22nd, Libra, the Autumn equinox.

The equinoxes change over in the southern hemisphere.
